Cement tiles, first appears in the south of France between 1850- 1950 and were considered as the new trend of tiles and gained large recognition in the architectural design field.
ART ET CIMENT uses same
traditional way of manifacturing cement tiles by using high skilled crafters who have been handcrafting
cement tiles for generations.
| a) First we insert the Pattern divider inside the mold. Then we poar the colors inside the pattern divider chambers. |
b) Next,The pattern divider is removed and the first coat is covered with two layers of mortar one is dry and the other one is humidified. | |
| c) After that we insert it inside hydraulique press machine. | d) The tile is carefuly removed by the crafter. | |
| e) After 24h of curing, the tile is dipped inside water for 1h. |
f) The tiles are left inside cooling room for 4 weks inorder to dry and cure. |

| g) After that, the tiles are packed inside cardboard boxes ready to be shipped to our clients. |
